No matter what your age or experience, it’s never too late to find a way to spend your days the way you want to. You’ve got to admire those who see something they want, and put aside all constraints to go for it.
Patti had been a bookkeeper for forty years. She kept fit by going to the gym. Nine years ago, she thought how wonderful it would be to work as a personal trainer, but she just left the idea sitting in her mind for several years, thinking I’m too old, it’s too late. Then three years ago at the age of sixty-two, she decided to pursue her long-time dream and become a personal trainer. She made a plan and began to put money aside every week until she had the funds to do the course. Today she is living her dream and doing work that she loves, with people she loves and you can tell.
As my personal trainer you can feel and see that she is incredibly committed to and passionate about her clients. Patti talks about the great sense of achievement and fulfilment she has after rejecting her own self-limiting beliefs and taking the steps to make her dream come true – at sixty-five years young! It doesn’t matter what age you are, it’s never too late to find fulfilment in any particular area of life, whether it be work, hobbies, health, travel or relationships.
We must give ourselves permission to go for the life we want. Every minute really does count and you can live the life of your dreams. With a decision, some action and often a bit of courage – it’s never too late. Don’t wait!
Every Minute Counts and You Can Have It All!™
Love the thinking Christina. I believe that there's no such thing as being old, just being older. Once we say 'I'm too old", we've drawn a line in the sand that's set our 'use by date'.
